Ziva is not just a name but it is an experience, a way of living. It is an oasis where spiritual and cultural aspects of life are crafted against abundant greenery. I am one of those fortunate ones to be part of the implementation team of this unique vision conceived by Mr.Suresh, Arun Excello supremo. I am also fortunate enough to experience it during these turbulent times when the sense of safety and security is in everyone’s mind. Experiencing spectacular sunrise against Ziva's main temple - an excellent Chola inspired temple with the intricate architecture and the spiritual heart of the Ziva community.

Sipping hot South Indian coffee with fresh and delicious milk from the adjacent Ziva Dairy Farm before morning workout at the outdoor gym to start the day. (The large pool set next to club lawn with uninterrupted views of the adjacent lake was unfortunately closed due to lockdown ).

Exquisite and delicious breakfast served by super courteous staff members which should make five star hotel managers blush.

Sumptuous lunch with fresh products from Ziva farm with a generous helping of dairy fresh curd makes you think why we can’t be all vegetarian.
Early evening snacks with more aromatic coffee made divine by the farm’s milk. Who needs Cafe Coffee Day or Starbucks?

Evening strolls through the extensive gardens and observes nature at its best with the frequent sighting of rare birds. Not to forget the evening prayer session at the grand temple when the sacred hymns are blessed by the golden rays of the setting sun against long shadows of the columns on the cool stone floor. A traditional selection of Prasadam is served following prayers which is always to look forward to.

A Ziva day food fest ends with a delicious dinner prepared by a dedicated chef and served by ever-smiling members of the dining hall.

Before hitting the bed a post-dinner stroll is a must to enjoy the evening breeze and to appreciate the hard work undertaken by the super attentive Ziva operations team in keeping the place clean and tidy. 

One more thing of importance to add that there is a 24-hour medical team standby along with a pharmacy which I must admit is super handy ( I used it twice ) for urgent needs.. all seems well thought through making Ziva a true refuge. It is a vision unparalleled in the inception and equally faithful in delivery.
